The folks at Hubs Hotel are so friendly, and accommodating. The Day we arrived we were greeted like royalty! also they gave us cookies! very clean cozy room we needed a cot and the owner Harold brought it to us himself and put it together for us. Dianne & Harald are amazing hosts. They treat you like they've known you forever and go above and beyond to make your stay the best!! Oh did I mention the free homemade cookies? also Harold makes the best fish & chips I've ever had! wow just amazing stay for such a small community who would of guessed? My hats off to you two excellent Job would recommend your business to anyone and can't wait to come back! Did I mention those cookies??

I will be recommending The Hubs to all my friends coming to Wells/Barkerville. It simply felt like a home away from home, what with fresh cookies, the newest videos to watch, and the wonderful feeling of kinship with the owners. Thank you Dianne and Harald for a wonderful stay and all you did for us!

We came sledding to wells and had an amazing time!! Harold is the best guide! Especially since him and the lovely Dianne run the motel! We appreciate everything you two did for us and guaranteed we will be back! I told my mother about you two and the town and now she has to come and see it for herself!! Thanks again!!

Found Hubs motel on inter-net when planning our 3 weeks Holiday to BC.
Having read comments in their guestbook we decided to stay at Hubs.Upon arrival we got the famous cookies. Next day after our tour to Barkerville we had Harald's fish and chips - don`t miss it.I happened to ask Diane if we got cookies every day, and half an hour later the door bell rang and guess who it was. Diana with fresh baked cookies.
It`s our third vacation in Canada and we have never met such nice hosts, or are they just Canadians.

Had the best time at the hub.The owners were so fantastic,from the best homemade cookies to free movies.And the halibit OMG. For me i will never stay at another place when i'm in wells.Thank-you Diane and Big H.
